About the Company: The Client, one of the UK's leading independent mental health care and education services provider, seeks a Director of Clinical Services for their Private Mental Health Hospital in Cheadle, Manchester.
Role Overview: Reporting to the Hospital Director, the Director of Clinical Services (DoCS) will lead the hospital's clinical operation, ensuring top-tier patient care and operational excellence. As part of the Senior Management Team, the DoCS will drive strategy and provide clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute hospital strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality care.
- Coordinate clinical governance and optimal staffing, budget, and resource management.
- Oversee staffing models, recruitment, and retention plans for safe staffing levels.
- Manage and nurture a highly skilled clinical workforce.
Requirements:
- Registered with Nursing Midwifery Council or Health and Care Professions Council.
- Post-registration qualification and continuous professional development.
- Extensive understanding of statutory regulations and commitment to quality care.
- Strong leadership, innovation, and mental health management experience.
