ODP / Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics + Recovery

£38,000 to £40,000 per annum | 37.5 Hours | Day Shifts | Great Staff Benefits 

 

A Hospital near Solihull is currently looking to recruit an RGN or ODP with Recovery and Anaesthetics experience to join their Theatres Team.

 

Details of this Theatre Nurse or ODP position and what the hospital is offering:

 

• You will provide excellent care, continuity to patients and conduct all required tasks such as patient recovery, pre-operative patient admission and post-operative checks, room and theatre preparation and work within delegation of Theatre Manager

• You will be required to manage all medicine management in your dept. including ordering, stock checks and out of date checks.

• 37.5 hours per week on a permanent contract

• A competitive annual salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience

 

You will join the Theatres Team providing exceptional standards of clinical care and customer service to private patients and will work within a highly experienced multidisciplinary team alongside expert clinicians.

 

Applicants for this Theatre Nurse or ODP vacancy should meet the following criteria:

 

• Adult General Nurse/RGN with NMC registration or Theatre Practitioner/ODP with HCPC registration

• Have recent experience working within Anaesthetics and Recovery with a varied case mix

• Must be ILS Trained 

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and work well in a team
