SYK is proud to be supporting our independent client in their search for experienced Registered Mental Health nurses for their 112 bedded Forensic medium secure psychiatric hospital in York. Our client is ideally seeking an RMN with a forensic background, however this isn't essential criteria.
The setting cares for both mental illness and learning disability patients and is split into seven medium secure wards:
- Males with autistic spectrum disorders (ASDs)
- Males with developmental disorders
- Female ward for mental health and personality disorder
- Age sensitive service for male patients with a settled-in presentation, in need of rehabilitation for mental illness and/or personality disorders
- 3 male wards with a mental health focus
There are good public transport connections from York and there is free car parking available for drivers.
You will be working on a shift pattern consisting of
1 long week 1 short week pattern.
Long week - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Short Week - Wednesday, Thursday
Shift time are 7.25am – 7.45 pm and 7.25pm -7.45am which includes 1.5 hours unpaid break and is an avergae of 37.5 hours per week across the month.
The salary for this role is £39,030 plus benefits inclduing subsidised meals on site.
